Features
- Automatic Cleaning Program: As simple as cleaning an espresso machine can be, rinsing groups thoroughly can be a misstep. The automatic cleaning feature guides operators through the complete cleaning process to ensure no residual cleaner is left in valves and passages.
- Barista Lights: A lighted deck for a clear and very important view of product quality. An appealing feature for darker atmospheres and it also creates a nice ambience.
- Custom Color (Optional): Personalize your Linea PB by making it an accent piece to your interior. Excludes black base, legs, trim and food zone areas.
- Eco Mode and On-Off Programming. La Marzocco provides you two ways to regulate the energy to your Linea PB. One is to program your equipment to lower boiler temperatures when your machine is inactive for a preferred set period of time. The other is to program your machine to turn on and off at specific times. Note: Your PB will need at least one half hour to reheat when using the on-off program.
- Filter Alarm: Many emergency service requests are often caused by water realted issues. Maintaining your water quality is a priority for great tasting coffee as well as preventing minerals from clogging components and small orifices. The Filter Alarm feature offers two ways to program your PB to notify you when your water treatment has expired. They are by a measuring a designated amount of water (liters) passing through your machine or by a passage of time (days).
- PIero Group Caps: As a reinvention to the Linea Classic S model, La Marzocco integrated their flow meter on top of the Linea PB brew group, which is famously referred to as the “Piero Group Cap.” This unique design aids with accuracy in dispensed volume because water is measured immediately before brewing. When the flow meter is placed before the boiler, which is the traditional placement, water is required to travel some distance in which the measurement can be possibly skewed. La Marzocco’s innovative group design is an added measure to ensuring product consistency.
- Ruby Flow Restrictors: These special restrictors are used to minimize the initial force of pressure to the grounds bed. The small area of any orifice can become easily clogged due to minerals in the water source. The Ruby restrictors are made from a material that is mineral resistant keeping the flow of water even and unobstructed. The result is all groups will pour evenly.
- Scales with ABR Programming (Optional): For those who prefer monitoring coffee consistency by measuring the weight of their dispensed product. There are two ways to optimize the PB scales. The first is by setting a product weigtht. The other way is by utilizing the ABR programming.feature to input your preferred ratios of coffee (grams) to product. The program operates to dispense and weigh your desired weight or ratio. The scales are located below the brew group and integrated underneath and as part of the PB drip tray. Special portafilters are utilized with the system. it is recommended that you calibrate your machine scales periodically. If you have additional questions about the ABR feature or PB scales, message us at (509) 558-8081 or contact us here.
